Tri-Board has posted a message on its website and across social media that buses and cabs offered by the service will not be running Tuesday.
“Due to continued severe cold across the region, with temperatures in excess of Public Health guidelines, No School Transportation will be offered Tuesday,” the message states.
All Mohawk Bus Lines will not be running Tuesday as well.
Schools will remain open.
Algonquin Lakeshore Catholic School Board posted a similar message.
Buses for all Tri-Board, STSCO, Mohawk school, Christian, French language and Albert College buses were cancelled Monday because of cold temperatures and wind chills. That covered all students within Hastings Prince Edward, Algonquin Lakeshore Catholic and Limestone District School Boards.
